The purpose of the Stateline Community Foundation is to promote the betterment of the greater Beloit community and the enhancement of the quality of life for all of its citizens. It fulfills this purpose by:

Attracting charitable funds, chiefl y in the form of permanent endowments, which are committed to meeting the needs of the people living in the greater Beloit area.

Using those precious resources wisely and effi ciently in addressing key concerns of the community, responding to its emerging and changing needs and sustaining its agencies and institutions. In doing so, the foundation serves as steward for the individuals, families, foundations, and organizationswhich, over the years, have entrusted assets to its care.

Providing leadership to the community, serving as a convener and catalyst in identifying problems, needs, and opportunities, and shaping effective responses to them.

Stateline Boys & Girls Club

The Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs serves boys and girls ages 6 – 18 with an emphasis on gender inclusion, family involvement and teen outreach.

Southern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board

The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB) serves a six-county area in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin. We are a dynamic collaboration of private and public leaders working together to promote innovation and quality in local workforce development activities.

Rock River Valley Blood Center

Every 2 seconds someone needs blood…You never know when you or someone you love will be that person. The Rock River Valley Blood Center is the Rock River Valley’s only community blood center.

Since 1952, RRVBC has been providing the blood products and services to hospitals in the area. RRVBC is the sole supplier of blood products and services to many area hospitals including Beloit Health System, Edgerton Hospital and Health Services an the 3 Rockford hospitals.

Special patient services, marrow donor registry and educational resources are also available at RRVBC

We are a fraternal organization representing over 2,000 union plumbers in Southern WI.

NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region is also a chartered member of NeighborWorks® America, a national nonprofit organization created by Congress to provide financial support, technical assistance, and training for community-based revitalization efforts.

Kandu Industries

For more than 60 years, KANDU has offered life changing job training and placement, care services, an living skills instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities and disadvantages. What started in 1961 as a small but dedicated group of parents — and community supporters — on a mission to meet the employment needs of their adult children with disabilities, has grown into a thriving 501(c)(3) organization. Located in Janesville, Wisconsin, just north of the Illinois border, KANDU serves the needs of more than 200 clients while providing valuable services to the community.

Ranging in age from 14 to 84, clients with disabilities and disadvantages and their families turn to KANDU for friendship, acceptance, and purpose. By providing a range of fulfilling and enriching opportunities, we offer our clients the chance to earn a living, make friends, and thrive among their peers.

Through our external operations, KANDU offers valuable services to the business and local community that support our underlying mission of providing opportunities for our clients.

Blackhawk Human Resource Association is a professional organization which promotes and facilitates opportunities for: Networking, Educational Programming, Professional Development, and Information Exchange.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches youth, ages 6-14, from primarily single parent families with an adult role model/volunteer.

Together they spend time doing everyday activities enjoying each others company and forming a friendship.

Statistics prove that this one-on-one time can be the source of positive changes in a child’s life including increased self-esteem, better communication and a stronger performance in school.

Volunteers can choose between Big Brothers Big Sisters ‘community-based’ mentoring program and their ‘site-based’ Lunch Buddies program in area schools.

Beloit Youth Hockey

The Beloit Youth Hockey Association (BYHA) is a Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois youth hockey club that is a tax exempt, non-profit, family oriented organization in which every child who is a member can learn-to-skate.

BYHA’s objective is to teach; skating skills and the fundamentals of the game, team effort, and good sportsmanship.

Project 16:49’s mission is to empower Rock County’s unaccompanied homeless youth to take action to achieve their goals.

We partner with a variety of local programs and organizations to ensure our students’ access to the community services and support they  need to remain in school, graduate and become self-sufficient adults.

This includes assistance with basic needs – including safe and stable housing options – as well as transportation, resource referrals, physical/mental health care, goal setting, education/career planning,  job search/employment skills, supportive relationships, and independent living skills.

Beloit International Film Festival

The Hendricks Group presents Beloit International Film Festival in association with Beloit College.

Scores of shorts, documentaries, and feature films, including US premieres from emerging local, regional and national filmmakers will be presented in seven venues throughout Beloit’s City Center.

Nearly 300 filmmakers are expected to be in attendance offering an interpersonal relationship with what appears on the screen.
