About Joel Otto, Financial Advisor
Prior to working at Thrivent, Joel spent 26+ years in pastoral ministry. Joel loves serving people and has found great fulfillment helping them fully develop and pursue their financial goals. He has been developing and growing his practice working with people approaching retirement, young couples trying to get on track with plans for their future, as well as churches, church leaders, and small business owners. Joel has been married for 28 years; he and his wife, Jeanne, have three adult children. He enjoys golf, sunsets, the beauty of nature, and is a big sports fan.
About Jon Urish, Financial Advisor
Jon enjoys working with young adults through retirees, helping them articulate their financial goals and build a sound strategy. In a previous life, Jon spent two decades working in higher education finance, experience that cultivated a deep expertise in investments, insurance, budgeting, tax strategies and philanthropy. This ensures that all his clients, regardless of their resources, make progress towards their goals. Outside the office, most of Jon’s time is consumed by his family – his wife Amanda and their five children – and their never-ending activities.
