The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is the non-profit animal shelter serving the Rock County area including the greater Beloit area.
The shelter sees annually over 2,000 lost and homeless cats and dogs and does over 1,000 new adoptions each year plus 500 pet-family reunions.
In addition to those efforts, the Humane Society also provides no-cost pet food and other assistance to hundreds of Southern Wisconsin families in need.
The Humane Society is not a governmental organization and relies heavily on donations, volunteers and adopters to continue to meet the very real needs of both the pets and the people of our community.
The mission is simple – Helping pets go home again – but fulfilling that mission takes the efforts of us all.
If you’re interested in becoming a part of the Humane Society, whether as an adopter, a volunteer, a donor or in some other way, please get in touch!
