For over 20 years, Mark Dutter has helped clients structure their assets, boost profitability, and minimize tax burdens. With expertise spanning law, accounting, and business strategy, he delivers tailored solutions that reflect both the numbers and the people behind them.

Mark began his career as a corporate controller for an airline parts brokerage in Milwaukee, WI, after graduating from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale. He guided the company through a multi-million-dollar merger and later served as CFO. These foundational experiences launched a successful consulting career working with small to mid-sized businesses across the country.

But Mark wasn’t content with the status quo.

Determined to offer clients a more complete picture, he returned to school—earning a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School, while also completing an MBA in Human Resources Management from Robert Morris University.

Today, Mark leads the AMD team with a holistic, client-first approach. By asking better questions and seeking a full understanding of each client’s goals, family dynamics, and business aspirations, AMD delivers solutions that are both meaningful and impactful.
