Keynote Speaker:

Josh Sitton

Former Green Bay Packer, Co-Founder & Director of Client Relations of Bear General Contractors

Josh Sitton | Bear General Contractors

Josh has taken his love for construction and paired it with his passion for the Pensacola community in starting Bear General Contractors. Josh partnered with Chris Jaubert (President, CEO and long-time best friend) to build Bear General Contractors based on a positive construction experience, integrity and long lasting quality work for commercial projects.

Josh’s interest in construction stems from his love for the development of real estate (“I love taking something old and turning it new again!”). He has successfully developed or re-developed many commercial and residential projects in Florida and Wisconsin.

Josh’s intense passion for real estate and his love affair with the Pensacola community fuels Josh in his role as Director of Business Development.

Josh’s affection for development and construction came later in life. His first true passion was for the game of football. Josh is a former NFL offensive lineman who played college football at the University of Central Florida and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Josh spent 8 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, 2 seasons with the Chicago Bears and his final season with the Miami Dolphins. He is a four time Pro Bowler, three time All Pro, and a Super Bowl Champion (SB XLV with the Packers in 2011).

Josh moved to Pensacola when he was one and has called it home ever since. He attended Pensacola Catholic High School (2000-2004). Josh has been very active with his alma mater over the years and is proud to have played a major role in the fundraising, fund giving and construction of the school’s largest renovation and addition since the schools inception.

Josh’s philanthropic work doesn’t stop there. Josh is extremely active in supporting the Pensacola community, especially for the betterment of our future generations. His involvement includes:

  • Studer Community Institute, Board Member & Sponsor
  • Josh Sitton Pro Camp, an annual event for local student athletes since 2013
  • Light Up Learning Annual Fundraiser
  • Mr. Robbins Neighborhood, Sponsor
  • Pensacola Sports Association, Supporter
  • St. Vincent DePaul, Sponsor
  • Catholic High School, Supporter
  • Easter Grab N Go, Event Organizer, Fundraiser, Supporter
  • Manna Food Bank, Supporter
  • Arc Gateway, Supporter

When Josh isn’t in the office he can be spotted exercising around town on his bike, hunting, fishing and chasing around his two children, all while taking direction from the real boss, his beautiful wife Kristen.

Josh’s life motto is, “don’t talk about it, be about it!” And is often heard telling his children, “be great, no matter what you choose, be great” and “you can do anything you want to in this life!”
