NAMI Rock County is a nonprofit affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Rock County. Our mission is to improve the lives of people affected by mental illness through free education, peer support, and advocacy.
NAMI Rock County supports a broad community — individuals living with mental health conditions, their families and caregivers, children and young adults, first responders, and workplaces. Core programs include free support groups (Family, Peer, and Suicide Loss Grief), along with nationally recognized education courses such as NAMI Family-to-Family, and the NAMI Rock County Enrichment Center. NAMI Rock County also delivers Crisis Intervention (CIT/CIP) and QPR suicide-prevention training to schools, employers, and first responders.
Beyond programming, the affiliate provides community presentations, its annual NAMIWalks fundraiser, and its annual On the Green Golf Outing, while advocating for stronger mental health services and reduced stigma.
As part of a network of more than 500 NAMI affiliates nationwide, NAMI Rock County offers a trusted local source of no-cost mental health support, education, and connection.
