About The Speaker
Tracie A. Burress is currently a Regional Sales Executive for Evofem Biosciences in Los Angeles, California. Her marketing and sales career started with various Corporate positions that eventually led her to the highly competitive and coveted Pharmaceutical Industry. In this role, Tracie has amassed countless Regional and National awards including the top award of the Presidents’ Club multiple times. These accomplishments allowed her to achieve the highest Sales position (Executive) which is reserved for the most elite sales representatives within the Pharmaceutical Sales Industry.
Tracie was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, and later moved to Rockford, IL where she lived with her family for 25 years. While in Rockford she was an active member of the community. She served on various committees for RPS 205, The Road Referendum, Mayors Council for Minority Issues, Rockford Area Minority Management, Rockford Regional Good Government PAC, City of Rockford Mayor’s office Family Peace Center and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a proud mom of two college graduates and an HBCU graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Broadcast Management.
After suffering a Brain Aneurysm in 2011, Tracie decided to take advantage of her “second chance” at life and pursue her dreams of entrepreneurship. She created SockTABs as a wearable solution to help anyone that has ever wasted time and money searching for or replacing lost socks!
After winning first place in the regions Eigerlab fast pitch contest, Tracie set her goal on pitching her product on a National stage. After auditioning during an open casting call, Tracie achieved that goal and in November of 2015 SockTABs was featured on ABC’s hit TV show Shark Tank! Recently, Tracie has reconnected with Daymond John, “The Peoples Shark” to relaunch SockTABs a new fundraising option for schools and organizations.
In the summer of 2022, Tracie wrote and published her first book and became a #1 International best selling author. Her book entitled SURVIVE and SUCCEED: From a Brain Aneurysm to Shark Tank. How to trust in God’s Plan. Is her tremendous story of fortitude and perseverance.
Tracie is passionately committed to helping women navigate through personal and professional challenges. In a world where we are all connected digitally yet feel so isolated, it is her goal to help women stay connected to themselves.
